Top Ten Non-Disney Villains

There's no doubt about it: Walt Disney Productions has created some of the best movie villains ever. But what other movie studios have made just as evil villains? Let's find out. By the way, here are the rules rule: the villains can be from an animated or live action Movie or Short aimed at kids/families. By the way, this all my opinion.


#10 The Wicked Witch of the west from The Wizard of Oz

Every thing from her Green skin to her evil cackle is scary. She is also determined to get the ruby slippers at all costs. Not to mention she is extremely over the top which makes her more scarey.








9 The Child Catcher from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
This guy is also one of those villains who is just plain scarey. Technically he is only a henchman, but the main villains in this movie are kind of dumb. His job is to catch children and lock them in the dungeon. He even can smell children (that's kind of weird). Regardless, he is creepy.









8 The Once-ler from The Lorax (1972)
Unlike other anti-enviromental villains who come off as "Protect the planet or you'll be an evil villains"ish The Once-ler seems actually evil. True, he is still anti-enviromental, but again he is still threatening. He actually succeeds in his plans and defeats the main hero. That's all I have to say about him.




7 Sharptooth from The Land Before Time
Sharptooth is one of those villains who really holds a grudge. He seems to follow this one group of baby dinosaurs. Point is if you see a one eyed T-rex chasing some baby dinosaurs, it's probably Sharptooth.





6 Preston from Wallace and Gromit: A Close Shave
Preston is an evil robotic dog who kidnaps sheep and turns them into his dog food. He is one of those villains who goes to extreme lengths just to get what he wants. Not to mention, he is a pshycho.

5 Jenner from The Secret of NIMH
Jenner is more of the plotting type of villain. He doesn't do any thing evil till the end, but when he does, he does a lot of damage. When he first appears on screen, you can tell he is the villain.










4 Shen from Kung Fu Panda 2
Shen tried to destroy all pandas so he can't be defeated. Also he uses feathers like daggers (I think). He is very evil threatening and will never stop his evil plans.






  


3 Darth Vader from Star Wars
Now technically he is now a Disney villain (sense Disney bought the rights). But he wasn't always so I think it counts. so what is there to say about him, well: he tried to kill his son, destroyed civilization, and has the power of the force. Super strong and super smart Darth Vader is someone you do not want to meet in a dark alley...or anywhere for that matter.






2 The Nothing from The Neverending Story
The Nothing is pure unimagination  that destroys the world of fantasia (not the one with Mickey Mouse). It is an unstoppable force of destruction. It gets built up the whole movie and The Nothing is as terrifying as everyone says.






1 Mr. Potter from Its a Wonderful Life
He doesen't care that he is doing evil things and without George Baily to stop him, he literaly controlls the town; it is even named after him. Also he is never defeated, in fact he just gets more money.
