The movie starts in 1929 where two musicians named Joe (Tony Cutis) and Jerry (Jack Lemmon) are working at the club of a gangster named Spats Columbo (George Raft) but the police show up and arrest everyone. Jerry and Joe escape. They need to find a new job now but the only jobs available are in an all girls' band and a one night job all the way across town. They decide to do the one night job but when they are getting their car filled up they witness Spats and his henchmen ax off another gangster named Toothpick Charlie (George E Stone). So Jerry and Joe are on the run from Spats and they come up with the plan to disguise themselves as women and join that all girls' band. Joe says his name is Joesephine and Jerry says his name is Daphnie. They get on a train to Florida where they meet a member of the band they joined named Sugar (Marilyn Monroe).

Joe does his millionare voice and informs Sugar that he is leaving. They climb out the window but the gangsters spot them, so they hide in the gansgter's dining hall where the gangsters give Spats a cake to congratulate him. But it turns out that a man with a gun was inside the cake and they ax off Spats. Joe and Jerry leave the room before that happens to them. ***SPOILERS OVER KEEP READING***
I like this movie. It's very funny and the actors do a really good job in their parts. The movie wouldn't be as good if other actors played the rolls. So this is a very good comedy that I recommend. See you next time.
